Can I work for a Greek company with this visa?
No, the Greek Digital Nomad Visa is only for those working remotely for companies outside Greece or running their own business.
How long can I stay in Greece with this visa?
Initially, you can stay for up to 1 year. However, you can apply for a residence permit that extends your stay for up to 2 years.
Do I need to pay taxes in Greece?
If you stay more than 183 days in a year, you become a tax resident. However, Greece offers a 50% tax reduction for digital nomads during the first 7 years of residency.
Can I bring my family with me?
Yes, you can bring your spouse and dependent children. The income requirement increases by 20% for a spouse and 15% for each child.
How do I apply for the visa?
You can apply at the Greek embassy or consulate in your country of residence. If you're already in Greece, you can apply at the Aliens and Immigration Department.
